School supplies for the 2021-22 school year will be provided by the school.
The uniform policy at Lewis Lemon Elementary School is mandatory for all students; it is to be strictly
adhered to during the school day. Substitutions are not permitted. If a student enters the school without
a uniform, polo shirt and pants, either the parents will need to bring the appropriate uniform to school,
or the student will be required to wear a used uniform from our uniform closet. Uniform Polo Shirt
colors: Navy Blue, Light Blue, White and Yellow/Gold. Uniform Pants/jumper colors: Navy Blue,
Navy blue or Khaki/tan skirts, jumpers, slacks, skorts and shorts are allowed and must be no more than 2
inches above the knee. Uniforms must be uniform-style clothing. All tops must be polo style (both long
or short sleeves are acceptable). Polo shirts must be solid colors, not striped or dotted or checked.
Navy blue or khaki/tan pants, slacks, or shorts are required. Pants may not sag – belts are strongly
recommended. Boys must wear solid colored shirts, not striped or dotted or checked. All tops must be
polo style (both long or short sleeves are acceptable).
All shoes must be flat, supportive, and fully enclosed. No flip-flops or open-toed shoes are to be worn.
Sweaters and non-hooded sweat shirts must be: Navy Blue, Light Blue, White and Yellow/Gold.
Sweaters and non-hooded sweat shirts should not have team logos on them. Hoodies and jackets are
not to be worn in school. Students with hoodies, jackets and/or sweaters/ sweat shirts of the wrong
colors will be required to remove them before entering the classroom.
Shirts/sweat shirts with the Lewis Lemon logo may be worn only on Fridays. If your student does not
wear spirit wear on Fridays, he/she must be dressed in full uniform. Jeans are not to be worn at school
without prior approval of administration. Parents will be notified of days when jeans may be worn.
